This Privacy Policy explains how DJ Cloud Solutions ("we", "us"), operator of Help My Interview (helpmyinterview.com), collects and uses information. DJ Cloud Solutions is the data controller for the personal data described here. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we process
- Account data — your email and authentication details, and your minute balance and usage history.
- Interview audio — audio captured from your device during a session, processed in real time to produce a transcript and suggestions. We do not store recordings.
- Documents you add — résumés, job descriptions, or notes stay in a folder on your own device. We do not upload or store these files. Their text is sent to the AI only during a live session to tailor suggestions, and is not retained afterward.
- Payment data — handled by Paddle (see §3). We do not receive or store your full card details.
- Technical data — basic logs needed to run and secure the Service.
2. How we use it
- To provide real-time transcription and suggestions tailored to you.
- To authenticate you, grant free minutes, and meter paid usage.
- To process purchases (via Paddle) and provide support.
- To secure, maintain, and improve the Service.
Legal bases (where GDPR applies): performance of our contract with you, your consent (for audio/document processing), and our legitimate interests in running and securing the Service.
3. Processors & sub-processors
We share data only with providers that process it on our behalf:
- Microsoft Azure — real-time speech and AI processing of audio and document text. Processed transiently; not used to train models for others.
- Supabase — account authentication and account records.
- Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record and payment processor. Paddle collects and processes your billing and payment information and issues receipts. See Paddle's privacy notice: paddle.com/legal/privacy.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your interview content for advertising.
4. Storage & retention
Interview audio is not retained; transcripts and suggestions exist only for the duration of your session unless you explicitly save them. Documents you add are processed per session and not shared between users. Account and billing records are kept as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal and tax obligations, then deleted or anonymised.
5. International transfers
Our providers may process data in other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object or withdraw consent. To exercise these, email support@helpmyinterview.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Your responsibilities (important)
You are responsible for using the Service lawfully. Recording, transcribing, or processing a conversation may require the consent of all participants depending on your jurisdiction. The Service does not join meetings or notify other participants; obtaining any required consent is your responsibility.
8. Security
Connections use encryption in transit. Each account is isolated so your data is not accessible to other users. Keep your device and credentials secure.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes are shown by the date above.
